1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mistake Review is a local-first iOS application designed to help students, exam candidates, and parents capture wrong answers, add answer masks, review cards on a spaced repetition schedule, and export PDF practice sheets. The Service is available as a free tier with up to 40 mistake review cards, and a Pro tier unlocked by in-app purchase. All user study content (cards, images, OCR text, masks, review history) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Mistake Review app on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, or sublicense the app to any third party.

4. Pro Subscription and Purchases

Mistake Review Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($2.99/month), annual subscription ($19.99/year), or lifetime one-time purchase ($49.99). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card information. No refunds are provided except as required by applicable law or Apple's standard refund policy.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create or import into Mistake Review, including photos, question text, notes, and review data. Because this content is stored locally on your device, we have no access to it and assume no responsibility for it. You are responsible for backing up your own content using the local backup feature.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations, infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
